God and the New Physics

God and the New Physics book cover

My first foray into the contentious subject of science and religion. Is there a God, and if so, what has science got to say on the matter? How did the universe begin? Could it have created itself? Did time begin with the big bang, and if so what would a God outside of time be like? What are we to make of ancient old ideas like souls and miracles? Don't expect to find all the answers, but at least the list of questions should be thought-provoking. To be perfectly honest, I think I did a much better job with my later book The Mind of God, but this one still gets quoted more than any other.
